Craftsmen will manually carve wax plates based on the design drawings, which is also a highly demanding process in the jewelry manufacturing process. The wax plates must be smooth and free from traces, and the structure of each part should be reasonable. The position and size of the gemstones embedded should be accurate and accurate. This is a very delicate task. With the development of technology, there are fewer and fewer handmade jewelry, and most of them are drawn using computer CAD software.
3、 Inverted mold
In the past, when making rings, wax loss casting method was used, which used wax molds to make the pattern of the ring. If mass production is required, the wax plates need to be made into silver patterns and pressed into adhesive films before mass production of wax molds. If it is customized, it will be simpler to directly enter the pouring process and plant wax trees first. The specific steps are as follows:
Planting wax trees - pouring gypsum - baking gypsum - casting - blasting and cleaning of gypsum molds - shearing castings.
4、 Exemplary mold
All the molds are made by hand, using a specially designed calender to push back and forth on the surface of the jewelry. This process requires certain techniques and techniques.
5、 Matching stone
According to the jewelry design, manually sort diamonds or gemstones, select suitable colors, cut, and match sizes for inlay.
6、 Inlaid gemstones
Each diamond and gemstone that is manually set is a technical task that requires setting gemstones under a magnifying glass that is several tens of times larger.
7、 Polishing, electroplated
Further polishing treatment should be carried out on the metal surface and details, and some jewelry also needs to be electroplated to make the surface smoother.
8、 Quality inspection
Inspect the finished jewelry and if there are any non-conforming items, return them for re production.
